Dear Reader,

A warm welcome from the Crows! We hope you're keeping warm and dry throughout the wet end of winter. We’re certainly ready for the first embrace of Spring, which seems to be just around the corner. In the meantime, we’ve made sure to keep ourselves busy both on and off SSO.

What have the Crows been up to this month?
The Crows have welcomed even more new members into our circle. We’re currently at a comfortable 12 crows, and we would like to extend a warm welcome to our latest trial crows. We’re looking to close our recruitment at 20 members, so if you’re considering joining, now is the perfect time to give us a shot!
The Crows have also made their first official appearance, participating in the Cross Country Race hosted by the Jorvik County Show Association, where we successfully secured 1st, 2nd, and 4th positions. Our clever crows even received ribbons to commemorate the moment!
Apart from that, we’ve been spending time mingling and getting to know each other while training our favorite pixel ponies and competing in the daily championships (we promise there was no excessive swearing involved). There have been plenty of near-misses, some tears shed, but overall, we’ve all had a good laugh.
Finally, our members got to experience the thrill of pursuit during our monthly Spooky Sunday event, where we spent the night playing horror games. No crows were harmed in the process!

What’s next?
As February comes to an end, we’re looking forward to our big monthly event, “The Wheel of (Mis)fortune,” where the crows will face off against the infamous wheel full of twists and turns. Additionally, we’re excited to host our first member-led event tonight! We’ve heard some interesting things, and mentions of a fashion show have been thrown around… Safe to say, we’re holding onto our best clothes now! Later this month, we’ll be getting cosy with a movie night featuring SSO’s series Mistfall. Until then, we’ll be busy frolicking across Jorvik.
